Hello Michael: I recently read a book about Italian genre director Mario Bava and looked at almost all of his films. I remember seeing “Black Sabbath” (1963) in your class. It’s one of his best, along with “Black Sunday,” “Blood and Black Lace,” “Bay of Blood,” and “Rabid Dogs.” I love the classy way he lights his sets with colors. Basically his stories are pulpy, but entertaining. I wish I could still attend Oakton College but am afflicted with glaucoma which makes getting around hard. Still, I remember the movie classes with you and Dr. Knapp with satisfaction, even if I did not love every movie, just some of them. Best, Neil Chisholm
