  Dear Mike, Have you seen Terence Davies’ Distant Voices, Still Lives; The Long Day Closes; and Of Time and the City. It helps to know something about Davies before watching any of the three films. I think he’s a wonderful writer/director. Cathy Jensen (The older lady that took your courses at Oakton!!!…in case you don’t remember me.)

    Hey Cathy, great to hear from you! I love Terence Davies and have seen all of his fiction films – but not OF TIME AND THE CITY.
