  What did you think of Bone Tomahawk?

  Just curious. I’ve heard dramatically different reactions to it.

    I definitely wasn’t bothered by the gore but I was surprised and disappointed at how racist the film is. The Native American characters are portrayed as subhuman to a degree that you won’t even find in westerns from the days of the old Hollywood studio system. It’s well executed as a genre piece though.

  I thought of that as I posted the link. 🙂 I guess I have a similar thing with the eyes and noise to Fassbinder. I could see that a bit.

    I should add that you resemble FOX AND HIS FRIENDS-era Fassbinder – when he was at his thinnest!
