    I saw The Machine That Kills Bad People a few years ago when TCM did one of their month-long Friday Night Spotlights on Rossellini. What an unexpected delight that movie is. See? Neo-realism can have a sense of humor. I love the title in Italian: La macchina ammazzacattivi

      Yeah! I had never seen it before and was really surprised at how hilarious it was. I think it’s a pretty fascinating indication of a road he might’ve taken but didn’t after the Neorealist films but before the great melodramas with Bergman.

    A very solid film worth seeing. The Last Time I saw ParisReviewed by Dan CooperThis film was made in 1954, and by virtue of its age it becomes an easy target for those who would use it as a vehicle to pump up their own egos with a verbal bashing that will likely go unchallenged.
