Just saw that the Criterion All That Heaven Allows, which I just bought, contains Rock Hudson’s Home Movies. Looking forward to seeing that as well as All That Heaven Allows, natch

This was my first time watching ROCK HUDSON’S HOME MOVIES since the 90s and I think it holds up remarkably well. In fact, it looks quite prescient since this is the kind of thing everyone is doing now in the YouTube age.

I saw Oculus in theaters on a whim and ended up really liking it, but the climax seemed like lazy writing.

    How are The Missing Pieces?

I didn’t much care for OCULUS (it was my wife’s pick — she makes us watch all the horror movies) but the ending was particularly bad. The “Missing Pieces,” however, are amazing. You must see them!
