      Can’t wait, I loved it too. I also really loved American Hustle, I thought everyone acted phenomenally in that movie and the direction was great.

  Curious to know what you thought of American Hustle (Matt & I went to see it yesterday) & which was better, AH or the Wolf of Wall Street?

    I really enjoyed AH for the actors, all of whom I thought were great, although I don’t think it’s any kind of great movie (it’s too much of a Scorsese knockoff). WOLF OF WALL STREET is better. I’ll be reviewing both on this blog very soon.

      The narration by the characters reminded me a lot of Scorsese films. I felt that it had some Scorsese knock off to it as well. Still, I really enjoyed it.

  I saw The Wolf of Wall Street and gave it * * * 1/2 stars (Out of * * * *). It was very good.

    Glad you thought as highly of it as I did. Though I personally prefer Shutter Island when it comes to recent Scorsese, this one really seems to be inspiring debates in a way that none of his films has since the 1990s.

    Now how many of my top 40 films of 2013 have you seen, hmmm?
