    I assume you mistakenly omitted Fast and Furious 6.

    Really interesting post on the Pynchon movie.

      Ben, I’ve actually heard that FAST 6 is surprisingly good! Out of the last 10 movies I’ve seen, for you I would highly recommend FRANCES HA — a great French New Wave-inspired comedy about twenty-something women in contemporary Manhattan.

    Do I sense a Primer of Australian film of the 80s coming? I sure hope so! I remember when those films debuted in New York. What an exciting time. Then that double whammy of Peter Weir films: Picnic at Hanging Rock and The Last Wave. Never quite got over them!
