I will be at the Wilmette Public Library on Sunday, February 10 to give a lecture titled “A Brief History of Oscar.” It will be an hour-long overview of the history of the Academy Awards featuring clips from movies (ranging from 1927’s Sunrise to 2009’s The Hurt Locker) that illustrate what Oscar-winners reflect about both the Hollywood film industry and American society at large. The fun begins at 2:00 PM. I can’t guarantee that Don and Melanie will be there but you never know. Don’t you dare miss it!

I’ll try to make it and I am sure it will be great, with or without Don/Melanie.
If you can’t get them, how about tapping ‘Tippi’?

‘Tippi’ probably won’t make it. However, this woman who once dressed up like her certainly will: https://whitecitycinema.com/2012/03/28/the-birds-is-still-coming/
