I’ve actually never seen McBride’s Breathless. How is it? I’m assuming you’ve seen the great David Holzman’s Diary?

Apparently it’s considered a pretty lousy movie, but I loved it. I thought it was lots of fun. Pretty underrated. I haven’t seen David Holzman’s Diary yet, but i definitely plan to.

Omar, this makes you the only person to have ever worked through the filmography of Jim McBride backwards! You will LOVE David Holzman – I would describe it as one of the few true American cousins of the French New Wave.

That’s true. =) I did watch Great Balls of Fire! before Breathless. Now i would have to go Glen and Randa to David Holzman’s Diary. That sounds awesome. It sounds like i’m really in for something.
