Delivering Malawi

The multi-talented Jesse Wheeler, who portrays Jerry the videographer in my film At Last, Okemah!, has for the past year and a half been working in Africa on a documentary feature of tremendous social importance, which is now in post-production. Its working title is Delivering Malawi, in part because of the strong focus on maternal and child health. Jesse’s primary roles have been sound design, photography, and auxiliary video. Music will have a prominent place in the film, as it does in community health strategies.

Delivering Malawi has been entered in a LinkTV contest. You can see a short trailer for the film and vote for it here:

The film’s director, Salome Chasnoff, says “I WILL LIST YOU IN THE CREDITS IF YOU VOTE” — you just need to let Jesse know that you have voted by contacting him at gnumen@gmail.com and he will forward your name to her. You need to register on the website to vote but registration is free.

Salome also says “PLEASE pass this on to your lists. This is an international competition. We need all of us to push it over the top.
With lots of love & appreciation,
Salome Chasnoff”

More media, including two trailers, photos and a short “music video” is here:
